LIGHTSTONE
I'm a freelance camera operator working predominantly on Sports Broadcasting and PSC.
Within broadcasting I have worked on events that include the Premier League, FIFA World Cup & Sky Cricket to name but a few. I am experienced in operating all broadcasting cameras including handheld, long lens and on cam-seats & hoists. I have been used as a Camera GU and have good understanding about the equipment and rigs.
I have operated PSC on events worldwide including Modern Pentathlon, Premier League Productions & Sky Racing. I thrive in the run-and-gun environment and have an understanding about how an edit is put together and what shots are needed to achieve this.
Alongside sport PSC I also operate on sit down interviews, studio work, factual documentaries, corporate advertising, social media content & livestreams.
CAREER
I began my career in 2014 as a Camera Assistant and Data Wrangler on programmes that include Victorian Bakers (BBC), TV That Made Me (BBC) and UK's Best Part Time Band (BBC). After this I moved away from TV and began working in outside broadcast. Progressing from an assistant into an operator, I've been fortunate to work on some of the biggest sporting events in the world including the Premier League, FIFA World Cup, Cheltenham Festival & Sky Cricket.
Alongside the broadcast element I also shoot PSC/ENG. And since investing in my own equipment, have operated on some amazing shoots across the world. I work well in both small & large teams and always shoot with a high level of detail and attention.
Working in both broadcast and ENG has allowed me to develop into a versatile shooter. I enjoy a challenge and always work towards achieving the best outcome on a shoot.
